Classroom Instruction

• Classroom instruction for teen-agers is held during the summer months of June and July.
• Class dates for 2010 are June 14 - 24 and July 12 -22.
• The classroom meets 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• The classroom meets Monday through Friday the first week and Monday through Thursday the second week, for a total of 9 days.
• The classroom meets at James Madison Middle School, near Virginia Western Community College.
• The class is taught by Jay Childress, who has 28 years of experience in classroom instruction.
• Students are not required to have a Learner's Permit for this phase of driver training.
• Licensed by the Department of Motor Vehicles
